Care Quality Commission

The  Care Quality Commission (CQC) is an independent regulator of all health and social care services in England. Their purpose is make sure that health and social care services provide people with safe, effective, compassionate, high-quality care and encourage them to improve.

Their role is to monitor, inspect and regulate services to make sure they meet fundamental standards of quality and safety. They publish their findings, including performance ratings to help people choose care.

The Practice registered with the CQC on 1st April 2013 and is registered to provide the following services:-

  • Diagnostic and screening procedures
  • Family Planning Services
  • Maternity and midwifery services
  • Surgical procedures
  • Treatment of disease, disorder or injury
