YELLOW FEVER CENTRE

We are now a Yellow Fever Centre and can offer Yellow Fever vaccinations to anyone who requires this.  You do not have to be a patient here to receive a Yellow Fever vaccination.

Please contact the surgery to arrange an appointment with the nurse.

The cost is £59.00 - this is for the vaccination and the certificate, payable in cash only at reception

UPCOMING CLOSURE DAYS

We will be closed from 12:30pm on 12th November 2014 for PLT and will resume normal opening times at 08:00 the next working day. Click here for a full list of days the Surgery will be closed.

OOH SERVICE HAS CHANGED

FLU VACCINATIONS

The following groups of patients are eligible for a flu vaccination:-

 - Aged 65 or over ie date of birth before 1st April 1950.

- Aged 6 months to under 65 in a clinical risk group.

- Pregnant women

- Children aged 2,3, or 4 years old as at 1st September 2014.

- Those in long stay residential care homes.

- Carers

We are holding drop - in flu clinics between 13:30 - 17:15 on the following dates:-

Monday 6th Oct

Tuesday 14th Oct

Wednesday 22nd Oct

Wednesday 29th Oct

Wednesday 5th Nov

Monday 10th Nov

Wednesday 19th Nov

You may attend any one of these clinics, an appointment is not necessary.

SHINGLES VACCINATION

If you were aged 70, 78 or 79 as at the 1st September 2014 you are eligible for a shingles vaccination if you have not already had one. This may be given at the same time as your flu vaccination at one of the above clinics.
